Sociology presentation

Can I just sigh of relief for a second here?

My sociology presentation is finally over and the tutor gave great overall comments!So worth the troubles,the near breakdown moments and the effort.

I really put in a lot of effort in this assignment because a) I'm still keeping my  promise to aim high and b)I really love the subject.Sociology is a beautiful subject,especially for those with abstract,imaginative minds.So if you love anthropology,psychology , or even language,I would really recommend you to try out for this subject.

The topic I got was bureaucracy and applying it in UTAR. At first,I was absolute clueless on what I have to do.All I know was that bureaucracy involves nasty politics which I HATE.I remember asking around for a general idea on what it is,only to be unsuccessful.

But from somewhere,I got my strength to put in more effort in my given task where I consulted/emailed my tutor regarding the assignment.Like most students,we tend to feel shy and end up thinking 'Aah never mind. I'll figure it out myself.Its not SO hard'.

DON'T

I've witnessed some presentations that went bad because they ran off topic from the questions,simply because they didn't consult the tutor.Since my tutor encourages us to sit in the other group tutorial classes,my best friend and I did exactly that.Can you believe we butt in his three other tutorial groups?(perks of having your tutorial class on a Friday).

On the big day,my best friend was as sweet as ever ! She took her time to sit in my tutorial class.It sucks that we're both different tutor class,with different tutors.So ,I was so touched to see her come to support me.She listened my practices and helped me with the projector which I have no idea how it work.But it was okay in the end.

Just seconds after we got settled,the tutor came in my heart literally DROPPED.He said ''You may start'' and I started talking.What I thought would be a nightmare.turned out to be the best thing ever.As I talked,my nervousness dissapeared. I had more and more fun presenting.My classmates were great,giving me smiles and the encouraging looks.The entire presentation went well ,alhamdulillah .I'm so thankful.

It was then the overall comments by the tutor.He said well done ! He just asked to make some minor adjustments and put it in the essay which is to be submitted one week later.He even asked me if he can see the video I presented and if its good enough,he'll show it in the lecture class! I don't mind if there's a change in mind,the thought that I managed to present a potentially lecture quality video,is amazing.

So that's it ! What I thought would be something so scary turned out to be one of the best moments in uni .The group after me also did a great job at presenting ! At the end of our class, he said :

''Overall I feel like today's presentation is of good quality.I can see that both groups put in a lot of effort.When you put in a lot of effort,the lecturers will know,your friends will know.So good job''

Woohoo!

To make the day more perfect,I got 18/20 for my maths mid-term test !! This is the first A+ for Maths in  my entire life,really.So my day was extremely well.
