First time in pemimpin scarf ! A change from my queensguide sash .I feel so new ! (and old)

This was during a seminar,cant resist a selfie

So as promised,

I attended the Kedah Girl Guide's Annual Grand Meeting in Pulau Langkawi. It was just a short and quick two days but I definitely had a pleasant time.Karling,Kak Ainul and I decided to travel together in a ferry and we had the best time talking and laughing.

This little boy was somewhat fond of Karling and was playing with her the entire time! I was jealose looking at the two of them,somehow babies are petrified of me! Such a bummer for someone who likes kids!

We rented a car and stayed in a nice apartment.After a few minutes of resting,we attended the seminar given by the Chief Commissioner.It was a talk about how to improve guiding and how to make up a perfect leader.There were some very outspoken participants and I so many things caught my attention,especially the leadership qualities.

The AGM was the next day and we arrived early for it .Overall the meeting was okay,participants had the courage to voice out their opinions and questions on the agenda.This is what's making me love guiding,the feeling that women feel empowered to say what they have to say in any crowd.

Puan Sofiah has officially ended her term as the Kedah's Chief Commissioner after 10 long years.I had tears in my eyes when she gave her farewell speech and it took me all positive thoughts to calm that down.I guess I've grown attached to her from the very beginning and letting go was something I was 100% okay with. However ,she promised that she will still move on as a guide and that she's available anytiime.

The meeting concluded around noon and after lunch,we all headed home.

We had to time to go sight-seeing , beach strolling , window shopping at all .Yet,this was a great short trip for me .Im going to join all these events before my university commences next month.
