Friends & Friends

Being almost eighteen now, I've come across so many kinds of people whether from school , girl guides ,parents friends and so on.Reaching adulthood,I grasp the fact that everyone is different in terms of mindset,perspective,culture and other ways. Soon you will realize that at times,their opinions might differ or oppose from your own.I personally had this experience where a lady opposed the idea of a political issue.Although I had a different view,its important to just smile,let it go and respect her opinion.I also felt that I was still too young to get involved in these kind of conversations.haha.

Set aside the heavy topics,

I DO have some friends who i click with or in other words said by a friend ,have a sense of belonging. Its funny that the friends im comfortable with is not a very large group,but big enough for my comfort.Im talking about friends who I can laugh at the smallest things,talk nonstop for hours at night, go out with them for a girls day out and where you can actually pour all those anxietiesout without hearing them say ''owh,just GET OVER it ''.I know they're always there for  me through thick and thin,rain or shine and all those other quotes haha.

So THESE are the ones who I know I can trust wholeheartedly ,and who I'll always lend a hand to :

Based on the pictures,you can guess that the majority of my best friends are Non-Malay ,and from time to time,I get questions being thrown to me like :

''Why do you hang with non malays all the time?'' ,

 ''How can you get so close to them?'' 

''You want to go to THAT university? Isnt there alot of non-malays there?''

TRUST ME,these friends are the ones whose been with me since Day 1 and has never left me even ONCE.I remembered all those heart-to-heart talks with them that nobody can even reach to.I dont look at skin colour/religion/sexual orientation/background when it comes to friends.One of the most important values I learnt from my parents and guiding is that the person you think you wont get along with becomes your closest friends and the ones you think you should be friends with,are not necessarily 'compatible' with you.So yeah,thumbs up for diversity. 

Im  going college soon ,hoping for a course in English Language or Journalism in Perak .So again,being in a new enviroment ,knowing absolutely no one is definitely another new start of getting to know more people in another level.I really hope that im able to find wonderful people like the ones above and that everyone is the same.

Im not sure if this post had any meaning but hey,your mind differs too right? Its 1:14 pm and im gonna die if I dont get ready in the next half hour to visit a Chinese friend on their new year.Till then,take care everyone :)
