'Blood is thicker than water'

I had a splendid week with my dear family and cousins.Our raya version was very simple,to spend time with each other.We didn't do a lot of visiting ,so most of the time was spent in the house.Everyone has grown up beautifully since the last time we saw each other.I love listening to everyone's stories and their recent up-doings.

I was thrilled when our house hosted raya this year.Aside the fact that there's wi-fi 24/7,it felt great having people in the house for a few days.A house isn't all charms when there's only a few people.The adults chatted all the way while the kids (us) play card games and monopoly.Thanks to my baby cousin,we now know a cool game called kahoot ! I think its a good way of making use of our hand phones and electronic devices for cousin bonding instead of being lost in our own world.What's more fun is that everyone is so loud and hilarious that we end up accusing everyone's cheating and end laugh like there's no tomorrow!

I think my brother grew a foot since the last time I saw him.I don't get how boys grow so fast ,instantly making me feel a midget.Sigh.

Another great thing about raya is that our food ROCKS.I canNOT get tired of rendang and other traditional foodies.The fact that the mums are such  great cooks drive my cousins and I to the kitchen every few minutes.

On the 3rd day of raya,we called a photographer and a family friend,Miss Lim to take some raya photos since everyone came back to Kedah this year.We managed to get up super early just to doll up for this occasion.I think my house could just burst with laughter with hilarious remarks when she tells us to 'sit straight' or 'chest up' or 'smile'.We had solo shots,the girls ,the boys and the whole crew !Gahh it was such a happy atmosphere!I'm eager to see how it turns out soon !

Though I'm bummed since I was too occupied to invite my best friends over ,I managed to spare some time to do a mini gathering with my guide sister for dinner .

Too many things to write and share but till next time, Selamat Hari Raya to all my friends,teachers and all Muslims in the world .
