Girls Summit '14

I've safely touched down and arrived in Kedah late evening yesterday and I'm more than excited to talk about it.I collapsed almost immediately after dinner due to extreme exhaustion .All I remember when i woke up was:

 ''Whaaaaaat,its already the next day?'' 

Anyways,I'm back to life now and there's just so many things I want to share.I hope this sums out my four day three night stay in Kelantan.

The flight to Kelantan was at 7 am so we headed out to Penang International Airport as early as 5:30 AM ! We got settled in and boarded in the plane .But a few minutes after take-off,the captain announced that there were problems with the landing gear so they had to turn back for further investigation.Thank god our camp starts on evening !

We had to switch flights and soon enough,we were on board again and everything went smooth.It was less than an hour so we reached in no time.It was a taxi drive to the resort and I parted with them to my own room .

I had the pleasure of meeting such wonderful , friendly and definitely enthusiastic girls from Kedah contingent! 

The activities were remarkably fun and new.I gained so many fun idea's to put into use for any upcoming camps or activities.This is what I love about national camps,you get updated with the latest activities and up-doings . You're not stuck with the same ice-breaking game 2 years in a row.You have a wider scope of songs to sing and games to play .Its amazing.

Our team volunteered to go first for the obstacle course.I've probably only done two of the obstacles but hey we made it ,FIRST ! I have bruises on my left arm which bothered me later on but it was nothing compared to the fun we had going through all challenges .

We planned a station game for kids aged 10-12 to play and learn  during one of the days.Our station was all about ambitions and passion .I was impressed at their spirits and positive energy.They drew themselves 10-20 years from now when they start working.Some drew  doctors,teachers and also pilots.in The boys were being all macho and all,one of them even has a crush on one of the girls.
I cant help but find it adorable!LOL

All of them gave us a thumbs up at the evaluation paper at the end of our session !

Its so funny when most of them ran to me we were asked to divide them into groups of three under a faci.  I'm such a lover for babies and kids.These 'big babies' are just so manja !Some wont even let go of my hand !

We managed to pay a short visit to the beach just 10 minutes walk from the resort.It was hot ,but beautiful .We couldn't go in the water because it was at the  deep side with no sand but only rocks and deep waters.But can you believe we were allowed to go there just to take pictures?Selfies after selfies for almost an hour. I should call this selfie camp!

The best part was definitely the last night,where we call in 'Malam Pandu Puteri' or in this case ; 'Malam Girls Summit'.Its the last night where everyone wear pretty traditional clothes and put up performances and do whatever they want ! There were so many fun and funny acts ,impressions and amazing performances ! Gangnam style is on repeat almost all the time haha.

It was sad leaving everyone.Yet,I made so many new friends from all over Malaysia.Some whom I got really attached to during my stay.I hope we meet again soon ,till next time !
