I'm resuming my post as a student in 10 days time and its all about getting the forms right,going through your checklist on what to bring and the worst bit of all:

I was out and about for quite a while,travelling and such that I came to point where I HATED packing .The thing about me is that I have to make sure everything I need is in the luggage and I ended up packing more nonsense than resources.I then decide whether to unpack or not,being frustrated with myself.My dad recommends that I make a list of what to bring,with the exact number written down ! Though I tried,I couldn't actually commit,writing halfway and got tired of it.Needless to say,
I HATE PACKING.
However,
I have to accept that this is a part of life ,and that this is not the first and last time I'll pack .I tried looking it from a wider perspective .Packing symbolizes a new beginning in life.Whether is going to a new place,new surroundings,new people....its a fresh start.I promised to do extremely well in my foundation so here I am ! Being a girl guide too,I abide with the laws written and the on I'm holding to now is
'Rule 8: Seorang Pandu Puteri sentiasa bergembira walaupun dalam masa kesulitan'
I'm ready for this ! So packing,bring it on !

You know, I travel so much and till this day I still SUCK at packing! It takes practise and a lot of discipline actually to NOT overpack. Women tend to overpack more than men cos we always have this 'what if I need it??' mentality. Haha.
ReplyDeleteBut here's a tip coming from a graduate. You DON'T want to be packing things you don't need because you might be moving houses or bringing all your stuff back during hols and it's during that time that you'll regret bringing so many things. TRY and pack light. If you can't fit it in 2 storage boxes (minus bedsheets and duvet) you need to throw some things out.
